UP and GOODBYE Story......
We adopted our wonderful, retired greyhound racer, Goodie, in May 2008. When we would take him for his walks we'd have to make sure we carried our poop bags with us (being nice neighbors we didn't want to leave doggie "doo" where it landed!). We then had to figure out how to carry the bags......either hold them in our hands or stuff them in our pockets. While we were on our walks sometimes Goodie would "go" not only once but twice! When this happened we were left carrying these filled, smelly, plastic bags for the remainder of our walk - YECH!
We needed a bag that would not only carry the clean bags but the soiled, filled ones as well, and do it stylishly! Having something attached to his leash wouldn't work because if he heard plastic rustling he thought it was food!
I thought of a bag having two separate compartments to hold both bags - clean and soiled. When your dog "goes", you take a clean bag out of one side of your "UP and GOODBYE" bag, pick up the "poo", tie it up and say GOODBYE by depositing it into the other side of the bag keeping them both completely separate. Close the bag up and your walk can be finished in style!
Then to come up with a name for the bag - that was the easy part. Goodie's racing name was Up N' Goodbye........
voila' the "UP and GOODBYE" Bag was born!
